System Policies

Credits are not money, but a market that can be trivially gamed is not worth trading on. The following are not allowed:

• Running more than one account, or coordinating with others, to move a price or work around position limits.
• Wash trading: trading with yourself, or with an account you control, to create the appearance of volume or to move a mark.
• Entering and cancelling orders with no intention of trading, in order to mislead other participants about supply or demand.
• Deliberately exploiting a bug in pricing, settlement, margin or the ledger rather than reporting it.

Finding a flaw and reporting it is welcome. Finding a flaw and farming it is not, and we will close accounts and reverse positions for it.

• The API exists to serve the Trendex interface. There is no public API programme and no API keys are issued.
• Requests are rate limited at the edge. Sustained traffic above that is blocked automatically.
• Do not scrape the site or the API in bulk, and do not run crawlers against it.
• Do not attempt to evade rate limits by rotating addresses, spoofing headers, or distributing requests across accounts.

Subjects are public figures, creators and memes, tracked only through public metrics. Trendex never ingests private data, direct messages, or anything behind an authentication wall.

If you are a listed subject, or represent one, and want the market delisted, write to hello@trendex.trade. Delisting stops new contracts and force-settles open interest at the last valid mark.

If you find a security vulnerability, report it to security@trendex.trade. We will not pursue action against researchers who:

• Give us a reasonable chance to fix the issue before disclosing it publicly.
• Do not access, modify or delete data belonging to other users beyond the minimum needed to demonstrate the issue.
• Do not run denial of service, spam, or social engineering against us, our users, or our providers.
• Do not use the finding to gain an advantage in the market.

There is no bug bounty programme and no payment is offered. We will credit you if you want to be credited.

Breaking these policies can lead to rate limiting, reversal of positions or balances, suspension, or permanent closure of an account, at our discretion and without notice. We will generally say which policy was broken.
